Three models of Fisher-Price infant cradle swings have been recalled. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the three models include: CHM84 Soothing Savanna Cradle ‘n Swing, CMR40 Sweet Surroundings Cradle ‘n Swing and CMR43 Sweet Surroundings Butterfly Friends Cradle ‘n Swing.
Fisher-Price has been alerted of two occurrences where a seat peg dislodged from the seat. According to the CPSC recall information, “When the seat peg is not fully engaged the seat can fall unexpectedly, posing a risk of injury to the child.”
Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the product. To determine whether your swing is part of the recall, consumers can find the product number under the pad of the seat.

The 34,000 recalled infant swings pose serious fall hazards and were sold at BuyBuybaby, Target, along with other stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com and other websites between November 2015 and March 2016 for approximately $170.
